Finally Some Help!!!

After Downing two games straight and a huge game 1 at Cleveland, the Cavs came back and they did it well. Yes I know you people thought Oh yes the Cavs had a great season and here they are about to lose at home in 5 games, think again Cavs haters.

We all know that the King has been carrying his team on his back throughout the Magic Vs. Cavs series, but for once he was able to breath, assist and lets not forget win. . . Lets go Cavs!

The Cavs once again destroyed the Magic in the first quarter badly jumping up to a 22 point lead. For some reason this Magic team that I hate dearly climbed back and stroke within 1 point at the end of half time. I sat in my house pacing my average sized room over 50 times, shocked that the Magic came back AGAIN!

Seeing the Magic eat the Cavs lead for the 3rd time was giving me a headache due to all the yelling. Rashad Lewis could not settle with the trey ball so he drove and drew fouls. Every and-1 took breaths of energy out of me because the Magic were digging closer and closer. I and the Cavs knew they had to win and that is exactly what they did.

The Cavs shot better than the Magic at the 3 point line, of course Petrius did his thing. I can't stand to see him, or when he shoots. He has this cocky attitude as if he is Kobe, but when LeBron guarded him he couldn't get the shot off at all! Talk about defense from the basketball god.

The Cavs wanted to win this game and they all helped LeBron(sounds weird but it happened. Mo Williams, he's one of my favorites, but also an idiot. I mean Mo come on now, you have to kill opponents throughout the entire series, Mr. I guarantee and series win. Mo does talk a lot, but last night he did a little more then talking!

Simply amazing, as I had some flash backs to his outstanding games of the season. He had 6-9 - 3-point shooting, who on the Magic expected that with his 24-points. Mo really made a strong come back and sent a statement to all reporters that were bashing him.

Rafer Alston, who unleashed on the Cavs in game 4, got it right back from Mo. Mo was unguardable for once and his 3-point ball was on fire, no one was stopping this confident Mo.

Mo is not the only one that went off. Boobie went 3-4 at the 3-point line, made some free-throws and finished with 11 valuable bench points. What had me flipping off the bed was the fact that they were mostly in the 4-th quarter talk about clutch bench players.

All these players helped LeBron's triple double, as he had 37 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assist that came from his teammates that found themselves, capturing a few and-1s on the assist from the King. Clutch Clutch Clutch!!!

Moving back to the Magic they held it down to. For a good amount though. Dwight Howard was fouled out as King James ran right into him, giving him his 6-th foul and LeBron got an and-1, the crowd was surely excited, and me? I was on my way to passing out. Dwight Howard? He was pissed as they played the song "Bad Day" for the fouled out superstar. After that he stopped smiling, which was something he had been doing all game. It was good for him and Ilgauskas finally went back at him strong, finishing with 16 points including a superb and-1 on Howard and Rafer.

The help also came from Delonte West, who added 13-pts, not the best shooting percentage, but hey he had double figures! The Cavs need to continue doing their job and helping each other out. LeBron is working to death, and he is certainly the play maker of the team. LeBron for once didn't score 4o and rolled in with 12 assist.

One Goal Cavaliers.

There is no time for celebration.

The Cavs are stuck against the ropes and need to bring it hard, since the pressure is on them.
Orlando just 1-win away.

Cavaliers need 2-wins

Can the Cavs come back from a 3-1 deposit and rally over the Magic and win the series?

Or does the one goal end in Orlando Saturday Night forgetting the Cavs magical season?
It's down to the wire and just "one goal."

Magic Faced Magic!

When you discuss the Cleveland Cavaliers and the number 23, you suddenly think of Michael Jordan's huge buzzer beater that ended the Cavs series years ago.

Now when you think of the Cavs and number 23, LeBron James is the first person that comes to mind after the Cavaliers 96-95 victory over the Orlando Magic in the Quicken Loans Arena.

James launched a huge 25-foot buzzer beater shot with 1.0 second remaining to tie the Cavs series (1-1) against the Magic.

Off a memorable pass from Mo Williams, LeBron James sank the game winning 3-point shot, which will certainly send the Cavs to Orlando with both hope, and momentum.

Hedo Turkoglu who was defending James tried to back door James, with an easy push-off, James was at the top of the perimeter, anxious, and waiting for the pass from Williams.

Just as game 1, the Cavs disappointed me. In the first quarter the well done defense held the Magic to just 16 rusty points on 32-percent shooting. GREATNESS!

The excellent defense was thrown mostly at the Magic superstar Dwight Howard. Every time Howard thought about touching the ball, there was already 3 Cavaliers surrounding him. The excellent defense destroyed Howard's game, this is something I can get used to because I hate Dwight and his cocky attitude.

Everyone new he wasn't going to average 30 points in this series. He was held to just 10 points and sent to the free-throw line several times and also missing several times.

The Magic, who were down by as much as 23, unfortunately did not give in or up. They kept coming and Rashad Lewis led the magic with 23 points.

In the second half the Cavs continued to displease and get under my skin, as the Magic ate their 23 point lead slowly. I said to myself? HELLO defensive team? Not AGAIN!

The Cavs; however, did make some good choices. Their benched score 14-points compared to 5-points in game 1. The differences was of course G/F, Sasha Pavlovic, who had 9-points in 21-minutes and played great defense.

The Magic saw through the Cavs changes. As usual they began making their 3-pointers through the loose spots in the Cavs defense. The Cavs had to step it up the easy way, with James, who finished with a game-high of 35-points, had to drive, shoot, and his specialty, draw fouls on annoying people like Dwight Howard.

The Magic, who tired their hardest not to be bothered by the crowd at the Q, continued shooting the trey ball, and on the defensive end, they held the Cavs to 35 percent shooting in the 3rd period. Cavs you are home the Magic should not be restricting you at all from shooting 50-percent or better.

Howard, who once again was in foul trouble, was forced to the bench with his 4th personal, and the Cavs held on to the lead by 6, at the end of the 3rd period.

It did not stop there, the Cavs begin to widen the lead, but rookie, Courtney Lee, tied the game at 82, for a Rookie he is pretty good I can't even lie.

Sooner after, Williams, kept the Cavs in tune with a critical 3-pointer, giving the Cavs an 89-86 lead. The Magic, continued feeding the Cavs taking a huge lead 95-93, with a basket from Turkoglu (who scored 21-points) with 1.0 second remaining, sending the Cavs into a timeout, to set up James magical moment. At this point I said to myself damn its over, were getting swept. But LeBron is on that team the games dont conclude 'til the clock says 0.

James is averaging a mind blowing 34.7-points on 55-percent shooting.

The Cavs were very excited, but the Joke should not continue for long. They head to Orlando with the series even, and they could easily face an 0-2 deficit.

They had to win this game, and that is what they did, with the final second I even believed it was over, but with the Cavs they gave me what I wished for, a thrilling surprise.

Who Put an "I" in Team?

The Cavs have finally experienced a playoff series, coming across the fired up Orlando Magic, who has to feel very good about themselves after throwing away the defending champions in a boring 7-game series.

The Cavs played horrible, but LeBron James the leagues MVP played sensational, with a lost!

Dwight Howard, scored 30 points, Rashad Lewis added 22, and the Orlando Magic railed from a 15 point half time deficit. Which made me very upset. Don't believe me check my finger nails for proof, since I spent the night eating them off.

James finished with an astonishing 49 points, which equals a playoff career high for James, he also added 8 assist and 6 rebounds. Yeah? That sounds great and all, but there is a problem here: James went limping off the court highlighting how hard he tried to win this Eastern conference opener and the Cavaliers did not return the favor to their star at all! Simply SAD!

Can anyone explain why one person is scoring 46 percent of the points? Seems impossible, but James did it on 20-30 shooting. Best playoff series ever, check the numbers!

This lost equals the 3rd lost for the Cavaliers in 46 games. Perhaps this game opened the Cavs eyes to how hard the playoffs are going to be from here on out. The Cavs swept both their first round teams, and ended up catching nine days of rest. This rest worked against the Cavs, obviously and that can explain why James had serious leg cramps.

The real deal sealer for the Cavs is when Rashad Lewis sank a crucial 3 pointer with 14 seconds remaining. After that the Cavs were not able to score back, and they fell to the Magic by a single point. I was very pissed and extremely shocked.
James had no right to give up the final shot to Delonte West, who missed an open 3 pointer, just highlighting how the Cavs did not thank James for his 49 point explosion. Delonte you can shoot! How you miss a game winning three????

After West missed the 3, James chased down the rebound on the ground and this sent him into a jump ball. In a catch an shoot situation, Mo Williams missed the game winning shot, falling to 8-1, in the playoffs. Mo didn't do a bad job on the try but it didn't go in, and the 4-th quarter made my heart hurt cause of pressure.

We still have to remember that the Cavs have not played, since May 11 so what else can we say? They were rusty and unprepared. This lost should be a wake up call, and make the Cavs even more hungry to defeat the Magic and advance to the NBA finals. I'm not sure if they can beat this team in Orlando.

Adding to the Cavs sad display, the Magic shot 55 percent from the floor-59 percent in the second half-against the leagues best defensive team. They did not live up to their potential, maybe we should not pay any attention to the sweeps, since the Cavs are not showing up after the rest. 59-percent? Are you kidding me? From what team? THE MAGIC? SAD!

James is not the Cavaliers, therefore his 49 points with a lost means nothing, unless his team helps, and he has 49 points with a victory.

The Magic just kept coming and feeding the Cavs. James drove and drew a foul on Howard, getting him out the game, but by then it didn't even matter, the seconds were ticking quickly, and so was my breath, since I was dying for my team to win.

I'm very certain the Cavs did not expect to go undefeated, this lost should open Brown to more ideas for the Cavs to get back on the right track. When I say the "Cavs" I mean the bench also, the Cavs bench was slammed, being out scored 25-5, which is sad since one person alone outscored the sorry bench.

The Cavs blew home court advantage and now they have to make up for it. The rest of the team have to assist James on the defensive and offensive end if the Cavs want any shot at the NBA finals. (The next game is Friday May, 22 at 8 o'clock on TNT)

The Cavaliers Have To Win On The Magic's Court Now
I REPEAT! They Have To.

Cavs Vs. Magic 1-2

The Cleveland Cavaliers are no longer on vacation, since they are coming across the Orlando Magic who beat them in the regular season 2-1.

The Cavs even experienced a huge 29 point beat down from the Magic, but in the playoffs it is very easy to say that the Cavs are a totally different team.

In the regular season, the Cavs went 3-1 against the Hawks, winning by close margins. However, in the playoffs the Cavs won all games by double digits and picked up a sweep. This was a shocker for fans who expected a seven game series, obviously we don't know what to expect, because the Cavs have surprised me so far in the playoffs.

I certainly hope a surprise against the Orlando Magic getting even and beating them on their own home court.

Lets take a minute and preview the series of Cleveland Vs. Orlando.

PG - Mo Williams(Cavs) Vs. Rafer Alston(Magic) - Mo Williams is full of energy and has boosted Cleveland's record up from 45 to 66 wins. At 6''1 averaging 17-pts and 4.1 assist vs. Alston's 11-pts and 5.3 assist. On paper Williams obviously can put up numbers for Cleveland, besides he is also a 44 percent three point shooter. Alston on the other hand can shoot but he has been having off and on games. If Williams can remain consistent than he will certainly perform better then Alston in this seven game series, after all he is a higher percent shooter with 2.3, three pointers per game, Vs. Alston's 1.7. Edge: Cavaliers.

SG - Delonte West(Cavs) Vs. J.J. Reddick(Magic) - West is named the Cavs best insider defender with 1.5 steals per game. He will match up against J. J. Reddick he averages only 6.0 points per game while West averages 11.7 points per game. On paper, once again the Cavs are winning, and with out a doubt when West is having one of those, ''Good Games'' he is definitely a much better player then J.J. Reddick. Once in the paint, West can alter himself in the air switching from left to right to have a perfect finish. If West and J. J. Reddick both have good games, it is easy to say that West might rally over Reddick. Edge: Cavaliers.

SF - 6"8 The M.V.P, second best defender of the NBA, and a leading scorer LeBron James of the Cavs matches up with Hedo Turkoglu of the Magic. In the regular season James averages 28-pts, which is the NBA's second best and in the playoffs he is averaging 32 pts which is the best. Who knows what to expect from James? He has had many explosions of the playoffs and overall he has been performing excellent, also chipping in 9.8 rebounds almost capturing a double double. Without questioning James is ready to face Turkoglu's 14.8 points in the post season. On and off paper, LeBron is ready to take on the Magic and Turkoglu. Edge: Cavaliers.

PF - Anderson Varejao(Cavs) Vs. Rashad Lewis(Magic) - Varejao captured his starting position after F Ben Wallace went down with a strained knee. Ever since he captured his starting position, Varejao did not take it for granted. In the playoffs he is averaging 5.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Pretty good for someone who wasn't always a starter, but Rashad Lewis is pitching in 19 points per game. In addition, if Lewis is given the chance to knock down a 3 pointer he will take the chance, and most of the times he makes the shot. Varejao on the other hand, is not a shooter. If both players play at their high potential, Rashad Lewis might be a problem for Varejao. Edge: Magic.

C - Zydrunas Ilgauskas veteran center of the Cavs Vs. the young Dwight Howard. In the playoffs Ilguaskas is averaging 10 pts 6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks which is lower than how he performs in the regular season. Dwight Howard is killing Ilgauskas with 19 points and 16 rebounds per game. Dwight Howard is much stronger then Ilgauskas and can move around easier, the Cavs won't leave Ilgauskas to contain Howard alone, but I'm very sure that Mike Brown(Cavs Coach) has a strategy. The only edge Ilgauskas has over Howard is the ability to hit jump shots, 3 pointers, and a better free-throw shooter. On and off paper Howard wins, but the Cavs are great at assisting each other, Howard, don't think it will be that easy! Edge: Magic.

Cavs Bench - The Cavaliers have strong players and big men on the bench to help out with rebounds. The shooters: Daniel Gibson, Wally Szczerbiak and Sasha Pavlovic. The Big men: Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and Rookie Darnell Jackson. None of the previously mentioned big men, carry double figures in terms of rebounds or points, so obviously the Magic has an Edge over the Cavs in terms of bench players.

Mag Bench - The Magic has a powerful bench and very strong shooters such as Mickael Pietrus who is a 45-percent 3-pt shooter in the playoffs. Come on people we can't slack on this team, lets not forget that the Orlando Magic set an NBA record of most 3 pointers per game, if the shooters are left open then the Magic can be dangerous. Not to worry, the Cavs do a good job at holding teams to 40-percent field goal. Lets just wait to see the outcome of Game 1 on Wednesday May, 20 2009 at 8 P.m on TNT.

The Cavs have a lot more edges over the Magic but I really don't know. I am hoping for Cavs in 6. - Capture game 1 and we(the Cavs) capture the series, moving to the NBA finals. Don't Let the Magic take that "One Goal."

Rest?........Yeah!

The Cleveland Cavaliers, the NBA's and Eastern Conference's number one seed. Additionally, they also have the best home record, second best on the road, the NBA's most valuable player (LeBron James), the coach of the year (Mike Brown) and possible the defensive team of the year, holding teams to 42-percent field goal percentage per game.

In such a brief description, the Cavs have done it all this year, and still up to now, well they have not broken a single sweat. Well earned and they are not taking it for granted. As the slogan says "One Goal," the Cavs have decided that sweeping both teams in the first and second round is no celebration, the 2009 golden trophy is the only time for celebration.

In the first round they picked up a sweep, and oh yeah in the second round also. As for the third, where they will play either Boston or Orlando, they can't slack now. The Celtics and Magic can undoubtedly beat the Cavs, but can they beat the Cavs in Cleveland?

39-2 at home is not handed to anyone, so obviously if either the Magic or the Celtics want a chance at beating Cleveland in this unhurried seven game series, they should make a plan, like now! The Cavs are hungry, they had a successful season, anything shy of a championship will be a total heart-breaker.

They play like the best team and they have the best player King James. It will be very hard to take this playoff away from the Cavs, perhaps Dwight has to grab every rebound and block every shot. The Magic perform well against the Cavs (45-percent) and the Celtics don't they have lost in Cleveland the last 11 times they met!

The Magic have to step up, and the Celtics who have made a 7 game series their best friend, should avoid that. All game 7s are in Cleveland and neither of these teams seem to be able to beat the Cavs on their home court.

The Cavs are well rested and they earned it, since they wrapped up both of their series in just 4 games. The Magic forced a game 7 so LeBron and the Cavs have more time to rest and continue being the proven best. Rest can sometimes be a bad thing, causing teams to slack off and lose their offensive drive. With Atlanta, the Cavs did not slack after their long rest from sweeping Detroit.

Whoever the Cavs face they will be ready to wrap this series up as quick as they can and advance to the NBA finals where they belong. It's one goal and no one should hold them back from grabbing their goal!

Cavaliers all the way to the title.

MVP Performance

James scored just five points in a run that ended the third quarter, which sent the Cavs to the fourth quarter with a shaky lead. He scored 13 of the final 25 points before he went to the bench hearing “MVP!" screams from the disappointed crowd.

The Cavs have not crossed competition in the playoffs obviously. They set an NBA record with seven straight double digit wins. The Hawks have no chance of winning this seven game series. They might settle with a four quarter chance against the dominating Cavs.

The Cavs proved to be 20+ points better then the helpless Hawks and will attempt their second sweep of this playoff season on Monday May, 12.
