Recap?

Yes the hype has finally died and the Cleveland Cavaliers' season has concluded. No more sweeps and no more double digit victories, but can we just think about the outstanding season that the Cavaliers had?

Most importantly, the Cavs went 66-16, which is not only the NBA's best, but it is also the first time that the franchise has ever produced such an outstanding number, with an 80-percent winning score.

Cleveland was also the League's defensive team, restricting teams to just 42-percent field goal per game. Defense is what win's games not always offense, so this can account for the Cavaliers great winning score. While climbing to 66-wins the Cavs also broke many more records.

They won 13-games straight, before losing to the Washington Wizards (when Gilbert Returned), and it was very easy for them to win these games. (After this they lost two games and started right back on a winning streak).

The wins did not only come from away games, Not at all. The Cavs won a mind blowing 39 out of 41 games in the Quicken Loans arena. One lost came from the championship contenders the LA Lakers, and the other was stupid, I mean I do not even count it, since LeBron, Mo Williams, Z, and other superstars did not play.

The Cavalier lost to the 76-ers in over time by just one point. Think about it still? The 76-ers were not able to beat a reserved team, which proves how lack luster they are, but lets stay on topic!

The 39-2 mark will certainly be written down in the record books, for NBA's best home records, ranking in second place.

In addition, the Cavs also had the best coach in the NBA for the year after winning 21 more games. Last year they went a poor 45-37, and improved. Mike Brown was awarded coach of the year for the Cavs' success. He earned the award although he has something against playing the bench for some reason, not to say he didn't deserve it.

Most importantly, the Cavaliers had their first MVP. LeBron James won the award. He was also the 2nd youngest player of NBA history to grab the MVP honor. This year was full of record breakers for the Cavs.

Moreover, the Cavs set another franchise record of having just 2-turnovers in a ball game. That is excellent. The Cavs easily ran through the regular season breaking records here and there, which is why it is sad that they fell short in the playoffs, but hey the regular season and the post season are two different things, and I am proud of my Cavs.

LeBron James led all scorers in, assists, points, rebounds, blocks, and steals, which was only done twice in NBA history. Just because the Cavs lost does not mean that their season should be neglected or thrown away. If you don't want to write it down in your record books I will save it for mine! (James was also the third player in NBA history to get very close to averaging a triple-double for both the postseason and the regular season.)

Just one thing left.
The Cavs need to bring a championship to Cleveland.
