Cavs 4th Quarter Defense Beat 76ers (97-91)
The Cleveland Cavaliers' defense in the 4th quarter has been tough in the past two victories. Previously, they were allowing over 22-points. Now, the Cavs are allowing about 12-points in the 4th! That's why they were the league's defensive team and won 66-games a year ago.
They had to show the new guys, look this is what we are about, this is our identity. The new players are now learning their defensive role for the Cavaliers.
LeBron James finished with 32-points 9-assists and 7-boards. He made 13 of 20 shots.
The Cavs (10-4) were struggling after 3-quarters. The 76ers could have won, but there is one reason why they didn't! LeBron James was making his way back to the floor! After James returned the Cavs started an 8-0 run. By then it was already over for the 76ers.
They shot just 17-percent from the floor 4/23 in the 4th quarter.
All together, Cleveland outscored their last two opponents 50-23 in the 4th quarter. The 76ers got a taste of defense - outscored 22-10.
Mo Williams had 18-points 8-rebounds 5-assists and 3-steals.
Great job by the Cavs, they head to Detroit to take on the Pistons, who have lost 5-straight on a brutal road trip.
