After this highly anticipated season LeBron James will NO LONGER be Mr. 23 - he is switching over to the number 6.
LeBron has worn number 6 as his practice jersey and throughout the Olympics.
The No. 6 is weird but I like the idea. It's more original for when retires, considering that Michael Jordan has done so much with that number!
23 was suitable for when LeBron was in High School but now this gives him his own image as he continues to dominate the NBA and enter his prime.
LeBron also stated in a post game interview that he urges other players to also retire 23 as a tribute to Michael Jordan.
