After a DISGUSTING lost to the Charlotte Bobcats Friday night, the Cavaliers bounced back in just 24-hours - with a big victory over the Dallas Mavericks (111-95).
Although the season is young, this was the BEST game that the Cavaliers have played all season, and the box score and bench will gladly back me up!
Dallas is the NBA's second team in scoring and the Cavaliers kept them right in check allowing just 16 points in the 4th quarter.
Let's start with Mo Williams! 7 of 7 3-point attempts for 25 points? Yeah this was his best game of the young season - he also tied his career high of 3-pointers made in a contest.
LeBron James, reigning Eastern Conference Player of the week doubled up with 25-points and 12-assist. Good way to bounce back after his worst performance of the season Vs. the Bobcats last night.
Anderson Varejao had a season high 15-points on 7/7 shooting. 100-percent shooting from the floor for Varejao and 13 of his points were in the second half. He also flirted with a double double (9-rebounds).
Delonte West! Whatever the problems are with him - they seem to be slowly dissolving. After playing just 2-rusty minutes against the Bobcats he bounced back and doubled up with 10 points and 10 assist - his best game of the season.
The Cavs’ ball movement was amazing, resulting to a load of 3-pointer. They made 9 of 13 (69-percent).
The bench is the big story tonight, coming up with 40-bench points! Something that does not usually happen for this club.
As a team they were comfortable, shooting 68-percent from the field, scored a season-high 68-points, and handed out 23-assist - all at the half.
LeBron was part of the reason for the great ball movement with 8-assists in the first quarter to put the Mavs under (35-26).
If the Cavs keep up this remarkable execution, they will look to cruise back to the top and seal home-court advantage for the playoffs.
Next Game Vs. The Phoenix Suns @ The Quicken Loans Arena!
Remain Consistent.
Remain Optimistic.
